2017 APRC STARTED FROM NEW ZEALAND ON APRIL

01/05/17

New Zealand‘s Rally of Whangarei is the traditional starting point for the FIA Asia Pacific Rally Championship and this year was a great battle over two days (28-30th April) between MRF Racing ŠKODA Motorsport team-mates Gaurav Gill from India and 20-year old Ole C Veiby from Norway.

The MRF Skoda drivers didn't have it all their own way either, as Finlands Jari Ketomaa and Robert Blomberg from Sweden were both entered in AP4 Mitsubishi Mirage's built and developed by MPart Sweden.

Würth New Zealand was there with a big team, providing the APRC competitors with products and technical assistance. Würth signage was everywhere with large banners at the start, a sales and display booth in the service-park, a big presence at the finish ceremony with large banners, Würth marquee and local representatives to hand-over the prizes.

The next station would be held in Australia Canberra on May 26. Please looking forward to next competition!
