Panel Undercut

Panel Undercut

The Würth Panel Undercut anchor adopts a post-expansion bottom anchoring mechanism, which allows the anchor to rely entirely on the keying force to be securely locked in the widened hole at the bottom, ensuring high tensile and shear load-bearing capacities even with a small diameter.

The Würth Panel Undercut anchor system typically consists of a sleeve, expansion ring, conical screw, and flange nut, which can conveniently and quickly achieve a strong connection between high-strength panel materials and supporting structures.

Based on the locking principle of the anchor, stress can be evenly distributed across the contact surface, thereby eliminating the lateral pressure of the anchor within the hole. With the same safety level, the back-hang installation method can support larger panels than the four-side grooving method.

The Würth Panel Undercut anchor system can achieve the breathing function of the curtain wall, utilizing the equal pressure convection principle inside and outside the curtain wall to improve structural waterproof penetration and thermal insulation energy-saving effects. The drilling and expansion of the back of the panel are completed in one go. After inserting the anchor kit, the anchor kit is installed by tapping the sleeve with the installation tool, and finally tightening the nut to complete the installation. The simple and easy installation method is suitable for most high-strength panel materials, with strong adjustability after installation, allowing for flexible replacement of any or all panels.
